ECI830 is an investigational small molecule antineoplastic agent developed by Novartis for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, with a primary focus on hormone receptor-positive (HR+), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative (HER2-) advanced breast cancer. The drug is being evaluated as both a single agent and in combination with ribociclib and fulvestrant in ongoing phase I/II clinical trials. The mechanism of action has not been publicly disclosed as of June 2025. Clinical development includes patients with HR+/HER2- advanced breast cancer who have progressed after prior endocrine therapy and CDK4/6 inhibitor treatment, as well as patients with other solid tumors harboring CCNE1 amplification[1][4][5][6].
