Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**EcoActive** is an investigational, orally administered seven-lytic-bacteriophage cocktail developed by Intralytix for inactive Crohn's disease. It is designed to selectively infect and lyse adherent-invasive *Escherichia coli* (AIEC), a Crohn's disease-associated bacterial pathotype, thereby reducing intestinal AIEC burden rather than broadly suppressing the microbiota. EcoActive is being evaluated in the randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 1/2a trial NCT03808103. ([intralytix.com](https://www.intralytix.com/clinical-trial/1))
