Overview

EDAFENCE is a patented anti-pollution cosmeceutical technology developed by Cantabria Labs, derived from the Antarctic plant *Deschampsia antarctica*. It is designed to protect the skin against environmental stressors such as urban pollutants (particulate matter), heavy metals, tobacco smoke, and blue light. Mechanistically, it acts as an antioxidant and an antagonist of the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR), thereby preventing the cellular damage and inflammatory responses typically triggered by environmental toxins.
