Drug intelligence / Profile preview
EDC8 is a preclinical **CD38-targeted extracellular drug conjugate** being developed by Centrose Pharmaceuticals for **multiple myeloma** and **acute myeloid leukemia**. It uses Centrose's Extracellular Drug Conjugate platform, pairing an anti-CD38 antibody with a potent **Na,K-ATPase inhibitory payload** to kill CD38-expressing tumor cells at the cell surface without requiring intracellular internalization. Preclinical data described activity in CD38-positive lymphoma, leukemia, and multiple myeloma models, including xenograft activity, and reported selective killing of ATRA-inducible AML cell types when used with ATRA, supporting its potential as a first-in-class CD38-directed ADC-like therapy.
