Drug intelligence / Profile preview
EDI-L211 is a preclinical-stage small interfering RNA (siRNA) therapeutic developed by the Empire Discovery Institute (EDI) for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, specifically heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). The drug is designed to target and silence a specific gene within the cardiac and vascular stiffness pathway, aiming to reduce the pathological stiffening of heart and vascular tissues that drives HFpEF progression. As of the latest pipeline updates, EDI-L211 has been out-licensed to an undisclosed partner for further development and is no longer available for partnering through EDI.
