EDP168 is an investigational dual-targeting small interfering RNA (siRNA) therapeutic being developed by Genor Biopharma (also known as Edding Genor) for the treatment of hyperlipidemia and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD). The drug is designed to simultaneously silence two distinct pathogenic gene targets involved in lipid metabolism, leveraging the RNA interference (RNAi) pathway to achieve synergistic reductions in atherogenic lipoproteins. By targeting two genes with a single molecule, EDP168 aims to provide enhanced efficacy and a more convenient dosing regimen compared to traditional single-target therapies. As of early 2026, EDP168 is in the discovery and pre-clinical candidate (PCC) stage of development.
