Drug intelligence / Profile preview
EDV-60mer is an investigational, non-targeted EnGeneIC Dream Vector (EDV™) nanocell developed by EnGeneIC Pty Limited. It consists of a bacterially-derived, ~400 nm nanoparticle delivery system loaded with an immunomodulatory 60mer oligonucleotide adjuvant. Unlike targeted EDVs, EDV-60mer lacks a bispecific antibody for tumor-specific targeting; its primary function is to act as an immune stimulant to overcome tumor-induced immunosuppression and enhance anti-tumor immune responses. In clinical settings, it is being evaluated in Phase 1 trials as a combination partner with EGFR-targeted EDVs carrying the super-cytotoxic payload PNU-159682 (EGFR(V)-EDV-PNU) for the treatment of advanced solid tumors lacking curative options.
