EDV-GC is an investigational **immunomodulatory therapy** consisting of *non-targeted EnGeneIC Dream Vector (EDV) nanocells* loaded with **alpha-galactosylceramide (GC)**, a synthetic glycolipid. It is designed to *boost the immune response*, particularly through the activation of innate and adaptive immunity, to help the body fight cancer. Unlike targeted EDVs, EDV-GC does not have a cancer-specific surface target but delivers its payload to stimulate immune cells such as invariant natural killer T cells (iNKT), dendritic cells, and other components of the immune system.
