Overview

**Efineptakin alfa + bevacizumab** is an experimental combination therapy under clinical investigation, particularly for recurrent glioblastoma. Efineptakin alfa (also known as GX-I7 or NT-I7) is a long-acting recombinant human interleukin-7 (IL-7) designed to increase T cell numbers, thereby enhancing antitumor immune responses. Bevacizumab is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody targeting vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), thereby inhibiting angiogenesis and tumor blood vessel formation. The combination is being tested to leverage both immune stimulation (by IL-7) and anti-angiogenic (by VEGF blockade) activity, with the goal of improving outcomes in highly aggressive tumors such as glioblastoma[3][5].
