**Efpeglenatide + insulin** (also known as LAPSInsulin Combo) is an investigational once-weekly combination therapy for diabetes comprising efpeglenatide, a long-acting glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist (GLP-1RA) based on a modified exendin-4 analog fused to an IgG4 Fc fragment via LAPS technology for prolonged half-life, and LAPSInsulin 115, a long-acting insulin analog engineered for weekly dosing using Hanmi Pharm's LAPSCOVERY platform. Efpeglenatide acts as a potent GLP-1RA agonist promoting insulin secretion, glucagon suppression, gastric emptying delay, and satiety for glycemic control and weight loss, while the insulin component provides basal glycemic regulation.
