EGFR shRNA is a research-stage RNA interference (RNAi) therapeutic candidate designed to silence the expression of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). By utilizing short hairpin RNA (shRNA) sequences, this biologic targets EGFR mRNA for degradation, thereby reducing the levels of EGFR protein on the cell surface and inhibiting downstream oncogenic signaling pathways such as PI3K/Akt and MAPK.
