Overview
Eggton Plus is a multi-ingredient nutraceutical product developed by Biotics Lab, specifically formulated for joint protection and the management of arthritis symptoms. The primary active components are Natural Eggshell Membrane (NEM) and Boswellia serrata extract (often standardized as Aflapin). NEM is a naturally occurring source of glycosaminoglycans and proteins, including chondroitin sulfate, hyaluronic acid, and collagen, which are essential for maintaining the structural integrity of joint cartilage and reducing stiffness. Boswellia serrata provides potent anti-inflammatory activity by selectively inhibiting the 5-lipoxygenase (5-LOX) enzyme, thereby blocking the synthesis of pro-inflammatory leukotrienes. This synergistic combination aims to reduce joint pain, improve physical function, and slow the progression of joint degradation in conditions such as osteoarthritis.
