Drug intelligence / Profile preview
EHC18 is a long-acting triple agonist targeting the glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP), and glucagon (GCG) receptors. Developed by E-Home Healthcare, it is designed for the treatment of metabolic disorders, including obesity and type 2 diabetes mellitus. By simultaneously activating these three pathways, EHC18 aims to achieve superior weight loss and glycemic control compared to mono- or dual-agonists. The GLP-1 and GIP components enhance insulin secretion and suppress appetite, while the glucagon component increases energy expenditure and improves lipid metabolism. The drug is currently being evaluated in early-stage clinical trials to assess its safety, tolerability, and efficacy in metabolic health.
