Drug intelligence / Profile preview
eHSCs (Engineered Hematopoietic Stem Cells) is a preclinical-stage cell and gene therapy program developed by ExCellThera (also known as ETC Therapy). The program focuses on the genetic modification and expansion of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) to address unmet needs in oncology, hematology, and immunology. By combining ExCellThera's proprietary UM171 expansion technology—which allows for the significant multiplication of high-quality stem cells—with advanced gene engineering tools, the platform aims to create enhanced stem cell products. These engineered cells are designed to improve therapeutic outcomes in allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) and other regenerative medicine applications by potentially enhancing cell homing, persistence, or providing specific anti-tumor activities.
