EI-2001

EI-2001 is a small molecule inhibitor of Hematopoietic Progenitor Kinase 1 (HPK1), also known as MAP4K1, currently in Phase 1 clinical development by Elixiron Immunotherapeutics for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. HPK1 is a member of the MAP4K family and serves as a negative regulator of T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling, as well as B-cell and dendritic cell activation. By inhibiting HPK1, EI-2001 is designed to enhance T-cell activation and effector function, potentially overcoming the immunosuppressive environment of the tumor and promoting an effective antitumor immune response. The drug is being evaluated for its safety, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy as a monotherapy in patients with various advanced malignancies.
