Ekyflogyl

Ekyflogyl is a veterinary medicinal product developed by Laboratoires Audevard specifically for equine use. It is a topical formulation designed for the treatment of localized inflammatory conditions of the locomotor system and joints in horses. The product combines three active components: prednisolone acetate, a synthetic glucocorticoid with potent anti-inflammatory properties; lidocaine hydrochloride, a local anesthetic that provides rapid pain relief by blocking nerve conduction; and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), which acts as a penetration enhancer to facilitate the transdermal absorption of the other ingredients while also exerting mild anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. It is commonly used to manage musculoskeletal pain, swelling, and inflammation associated with joint and soft tissue injuries in horses.
