EL4neovax is a synthetic DNA (synDNA) neoantigen vaccine developed by The Wistar Institute in collaboration with Geneos Therapeutics. It is designed to treat T-cell lymphoma by targeting 15 specific neoantigens—mutated proteins resulting from DNA copying errors unique to the tumor cells. In preclinical models, EL4neovax has been shown to elicit strong immune responses against multiple encoded neoantigens and control tumor growth. It is often used as part of a dual-vaccine strategy alongside TCRfullvax (a TCR-targeting vaccine) to prevent tumor evasion through antigen downregulation, thereby improving overall survival and tumor control in T-cell malignancies. This represents the first application of Wistar's synDNA neoantigen platform to a T-cell malignancy.
