Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ELA026 is a first-in-class monoclonal antibody that targets signal regulatory proteins (SIRP) on the cell surface of myeloid cells and T lymphocytes. It is developed by Electra Therapeutics for the treatment of secondary hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (sHLH), a rare and life-threatening hyperinflammatory condition. ELA026 works by depleting pathogenic immune cells responsible for the cytokine storm associated with sHLH.
