Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Elasfy is an injectable dermal filler composed of cross-linked hyaluronic acid, designed for soft-tissue augmentation in aesthetic procedures. It is primarily indicated for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, as well as for volume enhancement in areas such as the cheeks and lips. The mechanism of action involves the physical occupation of space within the dermal or subdermal layers, providing immediate structural support and volume. Additionally, the hydrophilic nature of the hyaluronic acid polymer helps to attract and retain water at the injection site, maintaining hydration and prolonging the aesthetic effect. While previously distributed by Vivid-Scientific, the product is manufactured by the South Korean company Humedix.
