Overview

Elevase is a multi-enzyme dietary supplement formulated to support and enhance the digestion of various macromolecules found in food. It comprises a blend of 13 enzymes, including alpha-galactosidase, amylase, beta-glucanase, cellulase, diastase, endopeptidase complex, exopeptidase complex, glucoamylase, invertase, lactase, lipase, protease, and xylanase, which are derived from microbial sources such as Aspergillus, Trichoderma, Saccharomyces, Candida, and Bacillus. This enzymatic composition enables the breakdown of complex carbohydrates, proteins, and fats into smaller, more absorbable nutrients, thereby accelerating the digestive process and potentially improving nutrient availability. Studies have indicated its efficacy in enhancing protein hydrolysis, gluten breakdown, and carbohydrate digestion, leading to increased levels of monosaccharides like glucose and fructose. Elevase is administered orally in capsule form.
