Eleview

Eleview is a submucosal injectable composition used in gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures. It is designed to lift polyps, adenomas, early-stage cancers, or other gastrointestinal mucosal lesions prior to excision with a snare or other endoscopic device. The formulation is characterized by strong bioadhesive properties, likely due to the interaction of its components with the structure of the extracellular matrix, allowing it to structure itself in contact with the submucosa. A randomized, double-blind clinical study comparing Eleview with normal saline (with methylene blue) in EMR for large (≥2 cm) colorectal polyps showed statistically significant improvement (p < 0.001) in total volume needed for resection, volume per lesion size, initial injected volume, and Sidney Resection Quotient. The study also showed positive trends for lower resection time, fewer resection pieces, and higher en bloc resection rates compared to normal saline. Eleview contains a very low amount of methylene blue (0.5 mg at the maximum recommended volume of 50 mL).
