Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Elgydium Clinic Sensileave Gel is a topical dental gel formulated to provide rapid and long-lasting relief from tooth sensitivity (dentin hypersensitivity). Its mechanism relies on **potassium nitrate** (10%), which desensitizes nerve endings in the teeth, reducing their response to external stimuli. The gel also contains **Fluorinol** (nicotinyl alcohol fluoride, 1350 ppm fluoride ions), a patented compound that binds to enamel more effectively than conventional fluoride, aiding in enamel remineralization and strengthening the tooth’s protective barrier. The product forms a protective film over sensitive areas, reducing pain, blocking dentinal tubules, and helping prevent further discomfort from hot, cold, sweet, or acidic foods. Elgydium Clinic Sensileave Gel is indicated for adults (18+) and not recommended for pregnant/lactating women or individuals with hereditary fructose intolerance. Developed as part of the Elgydium oral hygiene line by Pierre Fabre, it is often used following dental procedures such as scaling and whitening.
