ELI-201 is a discovery-stage radiopharmaceutical being developed by Eli Radiopharma as a targeted therapeutic agent. It is designed to be labeled with various radionuclides, specifically Lutetium-177 (¹⁷⁷Lu), Actinium-225 (²²⁵Ac), and Terbium-161 (¹⁶¹Tb). The use of these isotopes allows for different therapeutic approaches: ¹⁷⁷Lu provides beta-particle emission for medium-range tissue penetration, ²²⁵Ac offers high-energy alpha-particle emission for potent short-range cytotoxicity, and ¹⁶¹Tb provides a combination of beta particles and Auger electrons, which may be particularly effective for treating micrometastatic disease. While the specific molecular target and clinical indications for ELI-201 have not yet been disclosed, the program is part of a broader theranostic pipeline aimed at precision oncology.
