Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ELIXCYTE is an allogeneic, expanded adipose-derived stem cell (ADSC) therapy developed by UnicoCell Biomed. It is composed of mesenchymal stem cells harvested from adipose tissue, which are then expanded in vitro. The therapy is designed to treat degenerative and inflammatory diseases by promoting tissue repair and modulating the immune response through paracrine signaling. ELIXCYTE is currently in Phase III clinical trials for knee osteoarthritis, where it is administered via intra-articular injection to reduce pain and improve joint function. It is also being investigated in Phase I/II trials for moderate to severe chronic kidney disease and spinal cord injury.
