Overview

Elranatamab (PF-06863135) is a humanized bispecific monoclonal antibody that targets B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA), which is highly expressed on multiple myeloma cells, and CD3 on T cells. By binding both BCMA and CD3, elranatamab brings T cells into close proximity with myeloma cells to induce targeted immune-mediated cell killing. It is administered as a subcutaneous injection and has been developed for the treatment of relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma[6][7][8]. Pomalidomide is an immunomodulatory agent used primarily in combination with dexamethasone for the treatment of multiple myeloma in patients who have received at least two prior therapies including lenalidomide and a proteasome inhibitor. It works by modulating the immune system and inhibiting angiogenesis to suppress tumor growth[1][2][4]. The combination of elranatamab plus pomalidomide represents an investigational regimen under clinical evaluation for advanced or relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma.
