elsubrutinib

Elsubrutinib is an orally active, potent, selective, and irreversible small molecule inhibitor of Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK). It is being developed primarily by AbbVie for the treatment of inflammatory diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus and rheumatoid arthritis. Elsubrutinib acts by covalently binding to BTK, thereby inhibiting B-cell receptor signaling pathways involved in autoimmune disease pathogenesis. It has been studied both as monotherapy and in combination with upadacitinib (a Janus kinase inhibitor) in clinical trials for systemic lupus erythematosus[1][2][5].
