Overview

EM1031 is a novel bispecific T-cell engager antibody developed by EpimAb Biotherapeutics. It targets both kallikrein-related peptidase 2 (KLK2) and CD3, functioning as a KLK2 x CD3 bispecific T-cell engager. The drug is designed to redirect and activate T cells against tumor cells expressing KLK2, which is highly relevant in certain solid tumors such as prostate cancer. By binding to both KLK2 on tumor cells and CD3 on T cells, EM1031 facilitates targeted immune-mediated cytotoxicity against cancer cells. As of April 2025, the drug has been presented with preclinical data at major scientific meetings but has not yet entered clinical trials[8][1].
