Drug intelligence / Profile preview
EM1039 is a novel trispecific T-cell engager (TCE) currently in preclinical development by EpimAb Biotherapeutics for the treatment of B cell-related autoimmune diseases. Utilizing EpimAb's proprietary FIT-Ig (Fabs-In-Tandem Immunoglobulin) platform, EM1039 is engineered to facilitate the targeted destruction of pathogenic B-cells by recruiting and activating T-cells. While the specific antigens targeted by the three binding arms of the antibody remain undisclosed, the therapeutic strategy aims to provide a more potent or selective depletion of B-cells compared to existing monoclonal or bispecific therapies. The program is currently undergoing IND-enabling studies to support future clinical trials in autoimmune indications.
