Drug intelligence / Profile preview
EMP 102-Dx is a PSMA-targeted diagnostic imaging agent developed by Empiriko for the detection and monitoring of prostate cancer. The agent consists of a tumor-specific antibody conjugated to the positron-emitting radiometal gallium-68 (Ga-68) via a proprietary RCV (Reactive Catalytic Virus-like) carrier. By targeting the prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA), which is highly expressed on the surface of prostate cancer cells, EMP 102-Dx enables high-resolution positron emission tomography (PET) imaging to identify primary tumors and metastatic lesions.
