Drug intelligence / Profile preview
EMP-CNS is an investigational small interfering RNA (siRNA) therapy being developed by Empirico for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. The program utilizes a GalNAc-conjugated siRNA delivery platform to target a novel, undisclosed molecular pathway identified through Empirico's genetics-led drug discovery platform. By leveraging RNA interference (RNAi), EMP-CNS aims to silence the expression of a specific gene associated with neurodegeneration. As of early 2026, the program is in the IND-enabling stage of development.
