EMS-312

EMS-312 is a novel, orally bioavailable small molecule antagonist of Toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2), currently in preclinical development for the treatment of solid tumors and other hard-to-treat cancers. The drug was originally developed by Eos Therapies and has been acquired by Empyrean Therapeutics, which is advancing its development. Preclinical data suggest that EMS-312 exhibits strong target affinity, potency, favorable drug-like properties including oral bioavailability and brain uptake, as well as efflux pump avoidance. It is being positioned as a first-in-class candidate for cancers such as brain, pancreatic, breast, and other aggressive solid tumors[1][2][3].
