Overview
Emulgel is a topical formulation designed for the concomitant treatment of atopic dermatitis (AD). It combines the properties of emulsions and gels, offering easy spreadability, emollience, and enhanced skin penetration. The formulation contains a blend of active ingredients including hyaluronic acid, glycerol, Calendula officinalis extract, Aloe vera extract, polyphenols from grape seed oil, and epidermal growth factor (EGF). This combination aims to improve skin barrier function, reduce inflammation, promote hydration, and support skin repair, thereby alleviating symptoms of AD. The EGF component is stabilized using a patented method to ensure its efficacy within the emulsion.
