En-DPS is an enzyme-extractable polysaccharide derived from the mushroom *Dictyophora indusiata* (commonly known as bamboo pith or long net stinkhorn). Research in murine models has demonstrated that En-DPS possesses significant antihyperlipidemic and hepatoprotective properties. It has been shown to improve lipid profiles in both serum and liver, strengthen antioxidant status, and attenuate hepatic cell injury.
