Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ENB-004 is a preclinical-stage small molecule therapeutic being developed by ENB Therapeutics. It is part of a pipeline focused on modulating the endothelin B receptor (ETBR) pathway to enhance the infiltration of T-cells into solid tumors. Like the company's lead candidate ENB-003, ENB-004 is designed to overcome the "cold" tumor microenvironment by targeting ETBR on tumor blood vessels, which normally acts as a barrier to immune cell homing. By antagonizing ETBR, the drug aims to upregulate adhesion molecules like ICAM-1, thereby facilitating transendothelial migration of cytotoxic T-lymphocytes into the tumor.
