Overview

EnBrace HR is a prescription, orally administered prenatal vitamin and dietary supplement formulated for women of childbearing age, especially those at high risk for pregnancy complications or with increased requirements for folate and vitamin B12. It contains a unique combination of bioactive folates (including L-methylfolate, leucovorin, and folic acid), vitamin B12 (as cobamamide), iron (as ferrous cysteine glycinate), other B vitamins (such as pyridoxal phosphate and cocarboxylase), minerals (magnesium ascorbate, zinc ascorbate), omega fatty acids in phosphatidylserine forms, betaine, magnesium L-threonate, NADH, flavin adenine dinucleotide, and additional cofactors. The formulation is designed to address deficiencies due to genetic polymorphisms like MTHFR mutations that impair normal folate metabolism. EnBrace HR is indicated for the treatment of vitamin deficiency—specifically vitamin B12 deficiency—and the prevention of cofactor deficiencies such as l-methylfolate during preconception, pregnancy, postpartum periods or in patients with increased needs due to medical conditions. It has been studied as an alternative or adjunctive therapy in perinatal depression and has demonstrated efficacy in lowering homocysteine levels associated with adverse reproductive outcomes[1][5][6][8]. The product is gluten-free but contains small amounts of fish/krill/soy; it does not provide significant amounts of magnesium or zinc[3][10]. Manufactured by JayMac Pharmaceuticals.
