Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ENC-10x-xPTG is an investigational encapsulated cell therapy being developed by Encellin for the treatment of severe refractory hypoparathyroidism. The therapy utilizes Encellin's proprietary Encapsulated Cell Replacement Therapy (ENCRT) platform, which is designed to protect therapeutic cells from immune rejection and promote vascular integration without requiring chronic immunosuppression. While the exact cell payload for ENC-10x-xPTG is still to be determined (TBD), it is intended to restore parathyroid endocrine function and may potentially utilize xenogeneic parathyroid tissue (PTG). The program is currently in the discovery stage.
