Overview

Encelimab is a humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody developed by AnaptysBio and GSK. It functions as an immune checkpoint inhibitor by targeting Lymphocyte-activation gene 3 (LAG-3), blocking its interaction with MHC II and thereby enhancing T-cell activation. It has been investigated for the treatment of advanced/metastatic solid tumors, both as a monotherapy and in combination with other immunotherapies like dostarlimab.
