Drug intelligence / Profile preview
EnceVir Neo is an inactivated vaccine developed by NPO Microgen (a subsidiary of Nacimbio) for the specific prevention of tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) in children and adolescents aged 3 to 17 years. The vaccine consists of a sterile purified concentrated suspension of formalin-inactivated tick-borne encephalitis virus (strain 205), produced in chick embryo cell cultures and adsorbed onto aluminum hydroxide. It works by inducing active immunity against the TBE virus, providing protection for individuals residing in or traveling to endemic regions. The formulation is administered via intramuscular injection and is free of antibiotics and preservatives.
