Overview

Endocine is a lipid-based mucosal adjuvant designed to enhance immune responses. It is administered intranasally and has been studied in conjunction with therapeutic HIV vaccines (Vacc-4x) and influenza antigens to induce both systemic and mucosal immunity. Its mechanism of action involves mediating RNA release, which subsequently activates dendritic cells, thereby improving vaccine efficacy, particularly in populations like the elderly.
