Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Endoreg is an oral gynaecological medication containing 2mg of dienogest, a synthetic progestin. Developed and marketed by Jagsonpal Pharmaceuticals, it is primarily indicated for the treatment of endometriosis and the management of associated pelvic pain. Dienogest works by suppressing the production of estradiol, thereby inhibiting the excessive growth of endometrial tissue and relieving symptoms. It acts as a selective progesterone receptor agonist with potent endometrial effects but moderate antigonadotropic activity, making it effective for long-term management of endometriosis symptoms.
