Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Enercel is a branded multi-ingredient homeopathic preparation marketed by World Health Advanced Technologies. It is not a conventional single-active-ingredient pharmaceutical, but a complex dilute formulation prepared under HPUS conventions and sold in multiple related presentations for parenteral, sublingual, intranasal, and inhaled use. Reported ingredients across Enercel materials include highly diluted substances such as Cactus Grandiflorus, Aloe Socotrina, Abies Nigra, Arnica, Lachesis Mutus, Calcium Carbonate, and Pulsatilla Vulgaris in distilled water with alcohol. The product has been promoted for diverse conditions including tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, diarrhea, ALS, and cancer, with proposed effects such as enhancement of natural killer cell activity or provision of alternative cellular energy, but these mechanisms are not established by modern pharmacology and clinical evidence is limited to low-quality uncontrolled or non-randomized studies. FDA has stated that Enercel products are unapproved new drugs marketed with unsubstantiated claims.
