Overview

**ENGI-004** is an inhibitory specTR (inspecTR), a novel engineered therapeutic receptor developed by Engimmune Therapeutics AG, designed to target an MHC-related receptor that is overexpressed at barrier sites such as the skin and gastrointestinal tract. It functions by inhibiting immune responses at these epithelial surfaces, potentially addressing inflammatory conditions driven by dysregulated immunity. Currently in early discovery stage for immune system diseases, with specific preclinical or discovery-stage evaluation for ulcerative colitis.
