Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Orlance's MACH-1™ enhanced seasonal influenza vaccine is designed to offer improved protection against mismatched influenza strains by combining universal and seasonal influenza antigens. The vaccine technology, which originated from the University of Washington, is delivered using Orlance's proprietary MACH-1 platform, a needle-free 'gene gun' that administers DNA or RNA-coated microparticles into the skin. The development of this vaccine is supported by a $3.3 million Fast Track Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
