ENOB-CV-01 is an investigational RNA-based therapy designed for the prevention and treatment of pan-coronavirus infections, including COVID-19. Developed by Enochian Biosciences (now Renovo.bio) in collaboration with G-Tech Bio and the Seraph Research Institute, the candidate utilizes a proprietary "Hijack RNA" platform. This technology involves the administration of an inhaled RNA formulation that acts as a decoy for the viral RNA-directed RNA polymerase (RdRp). By mimicking the viral genome, the therapy hijacks the virus's replication machinery, leading to the inhibition of viral production or the induction of cell death in infected cells. This mechanism is intended to be effective across various coronavirus strains and variants, potentially providing a broad-spectrum antiviral solution.
