Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**enobosarm + anastrozole** is a combination of two small-molecule pharmaceuticals: enobosarm, a selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM), and anastrozole, a nonsteroidal aromatase inhibitor. Enobosarm acts as an agonist at the androgen receptor, promoting anabolic activity without significant masculinizing side effects. Anastrozole inhibits the enzyme aromatase, thereby reducing estrogen biosynthesis. The combination is being investigated for its potential to suppress estrogen production while harnessing the antitumor and anabolic effects of targeted androgen receptor activation, particularly in certain breast cancer populations.
