Enteral Nutritional Emulsion (TP-HE), also known by the brand name Ruigao (瑞高), is a compound nutritional preparation designed for enteral administration. It provides a comprehensive blend of macronutrients (proteins, fats, and carbohydrates) and micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) to patients requiring high protein, high energy, easily digestible fat, and restricted fluid intake. It is indicated for various conditions including metabolic stress (such as in burn patients), cardiac insufficiency, continuous peritoneal dialysis, and cystic fibrosis, as well as for patients with malnutrition, gastrointestinal dysfunction, or those needing nutritional support post-surgery or due to conditions like anorexia nervosa.
