Overview
Entolasta is a second-generation toll-like receptor 5 (TLR5) agonist peptide developed by Tivic Health, originally from Statera BioPharma. It acts as an immunomodulatory agent and radioprotective peptide, designed to activate TLR5—a key component of the innate immune system. By stimulating TLR5, Entolasta enhances immune responses and provides protection against radiation-induced damage. Its primary development focus is for the treatment of acute radiation syndrome (ARS), neutropenia, and other immunological disorders. The drug has demonstrated efficacy in preclinical models for improving survival after lethal radiation exposure and increasing white blood cell counts in cancer patients with neutropenia[1][2][3][6]. It is considered a new molecular entity.
