Overview

Entonil Crema is a topically applied medical device developed by Epitech Group SpA, specifically formulated to soothe skin reactions caused by insect bites, jellyfish, and nettles. The product is an ALIAmide-based cream containing adelmidrol, bromelain, and clove essential oil. It works through the ALIA (Autacoid Local Injury Antagonism) mechanism, where adelmidrol modulates the activity of cutaneous mast cells and non-neuronal immune cells to reduce allergic-inflammatory skin responses. Bromelain, a proteolytic enzyme, is included to assist in the elimination of irritating substances. Classified as a Class C Medical Device under EU Regulation 2017/745, Entonil Crema is marketed primarily for pediatric populations and is commercially available in Italian pharmacies.
