ENUM-388D4

ENUM-388D4 is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting the immune checkpoint protein PD-1 (Programmed cell death protein 1), developed as an immuno-oncology therapeutic. It was discovered by Enumeral Biomedical Corp. using their proprietary single-cell immune-profiling technology, which identified it among over 300 anti-PD-1 candidates. The antibody has demonstrated in vivo antitumor efficacy comparable to pembrolizumab in preclinical models of non-small cell lung carcinoma using humanized mice. In addition to its activity as a PD-1 inhibitor, some sources indicate that it may also have CD39 inhibitory activity, suggesting potential dual checkpoint blockade properties[1][5]. The program was licensed to Pieris Pharmaceuticals for further development and potential fusion with Anticalin proteins for oncology applications[9]. As of the latest updates, development remains at the preclinical stage.
