ENV-6946 is a nature-inspired small-molecule drug candidate being developed by Enveda Biosciences for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Discovered using Enveda's AI-powered metabolomics platform, which identifies novel therapeutic compounds from natural sources, ENV-6946 is designed to address the underlying inflammatory processes in the gastrointestinal tract. The drug is intended for oral administration. As of early 2025, the program is in preclinical development and is expected to advance into clinical trials later in the year, supported by significant venture financing including a Series D round led by Premji Invest and strategic investment from Sanofi.
